Curator's tour of site-specific artwork

Today at 9:00, a chance to talk with the curators of the art installation at the Nightingale-Brown House, 357 Benefit Street (a 15 minute walk from the hotel). Why at art show for the NCPH? Two artists mined the collections and history of the 1792 building to comment on the history in an interesting and profound way - not the way a historian would, but in a way that opens up new ways to look at historic houses, archives, and history more generally. More here.

Also at the house: Emancipated Memories, paintings by Cora Marshall based on advertisements for slaves, and runaway slave announcements
